The Sociology Department E-Mail List

The department's email list is a "rams" list, which is dynamically generated each day with the latest list of sociology and criminal justice majors. If you are a registered major, you will automatically be on the list and will receive all departmental updates and announcements. All majors are strongly encouraged to register their major as early along in their academic career at Rutgers-Camden as possible--otherwise you will not be counted as a major in departmental statistics and you will not be on the majors mailing list.

All students should regularly update their directory information so as to be sure that the email address that they actually use is the one being used by the university. To check on this--and to update your email information if necessary--go to https://www.acs.rutgers.edu/studentdir/ and make sure your directory information is up-to-date.

Keep in mind that it is now very easy to access your Rutgers-Camden email by using http://webmail.camden.rutgers.edu/. A problem with using "free" accounts such as Hotmail and Yahoo is that such accounts often fill up quickly and reject new messages.
