RU a Masterton Award Winner?

Each year, the department confers the George Masterton Award (named for the department’s first chair) on graduating seniors for outstanding academic achievements, significant contribution to the department and campus, and for intellectual promise.

Let the department chair know if you’d like to be considered for this award. In addition to having high GPAs (3.5 and above), Masterton Awardees do some amazing things. Last year’s winners worked with faculty on research projects, interned with state and federal justice agencies, presented posters at Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA), or volunteered in public agencies or schools. Some have gone on to graduate or law school, others are in law enforcement.
